In the 6th century BCE, King Nebuchadnezzar II wanted to honor his young wife, Amytis of Media, with magnificent gardens filled with scented flowers and lush decorations. To realize his vision of creating what would become one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, he summoned the most eminent architects of his kingdom — and now you are one of them.

In Babylon, you play as an architect competing to design the most impressive Hanging Gardens. On your turn, take a Terrace tile from the central quarry box and collect a number of pillars depending on its location. Use these pillars to stack the tile on your personal board, building higher levels and embellishing them with decorative elements such as trees, statues, or fountains. Each decoration scores points at the end of the game depending on the floor it adorns.

Easy to learn and accessible to the whole family, Babylon also offers a wealth of optimization possibilities that will satisfy experienced gamers. The result is a stunning 3D construction that grows right before your eyes — and only one architect will earn the king’s favor and the title of Master Builder of Babylon.
