Legend has it that in the far north, the fire fox Tulikko runs so fast that its tail sparks the breathtaking aurora borealis. In this beautifully illustrated family board game, you will journey deep into the Nordic wilderness to uncover the secrets of the animal spirits. Your task is to carefully select forest tiles, strategically arrange them on your player board, and complete objectives as fast as possible.

Gameplay Overview

Polární záře is a luminous tile-laying game that combines clever spatial puzzles with an exciting tactical race.

1. Draft a Tile: On your turn, slide a forest tile out from the central board.

2. Place it Wisely: Place the tile onto your personal player board onto a space marked with the same symbol as the slot from which the tile was taken.

3. Expand the Wilderness: By connecting tiles correctly, you create matching landscapes that allow you to place your animal or river tokens.

4. Fulfill Objectives: Complete various terrain and symbol objectives to trigger powerful, one-time mystical Aurora effects.

The goal is simple: Be the first player to place all of your tokens onto your board! If no one manages to empty their supply by the end of 12 rounds, the player with the fewest tokens left wins. Every choice you make not only expands your own vibrant forest but also alters the available options for your opponents, providing a wonderful layer of casual player interaction.
