OMPIC 2 is a packing puzzle - the goal is to fit all the pieces back into a single shape, in this case a 5 cm cube. Sounds simple, but with four irregularly shaped wooden pieces it's genuinely tricky, rated 5 out of 6 for difficulty.
The puzzle is handmade by Czech craftsman Václav Obšivač from Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, who has long specialised in designing and making wooden puzzles. The pieces are made from different types of wood, so every copy looks a little different - this isn't mass-produced plastic, it's hand-crafted work.
A good pick as a gift for puzzle lovers who'd rather have a small but genuinely challenging piece than a big box game.
