Deep Regrets is an atmospheric horror fishing game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos. As a fisherman seeking escape from a maddening world in the silent solitude of the sea, you will pull increasingly terrifying catches from the salty depths. But beware—the ocean is no longer a place of calm solace. Omens are appearing that cannot be ignored: swarms of worms with human fingers and unidentifiable masses washing ashore. Perhaps Edmund Halley was right about the Hollow Earth... and something ancient has stirred within.

Gameplay Overview Over the course of six days (one week), you compete with others to haul in the most valuable catches. Each day begins with a dice roll to determine your energy. You must make tough tactical choices: will you stay at sea to hook a legendary monster, or drop anchor in the harbor to sell your haul, buy better gear, and find some rest?

The Catch... Regret and Madness The deeper you cast and the more bizarre the creatures you hook, the more Regret creeps into your soul. Regret cards can offer immediate power, but at the end of the week, the weight of your sins may be your undoing. The player with the heaviest burden of Regret succumb to madness and must discard their most prized trophy catch. Can you still win with such guilt weighing you down?
