The game board consists of a square grid where players take turns placing their stones on the intersections. Traditionally, black starts and has one extra stone. This set includes approximately 181 black and 181 white plastic stones (13 mm diameter), providing more than enough pieces for complex games. The board itself measures 300 x 285 mm and is crafted from solid beech wood.
A standout feature of this set is the practical wooden box with a built-in storage drawer, allowing you to neatly store all the pieces so none get lost. Playing Go teaches patience, concentration, and the ability to see the "big picture." In addition to classic Go, the board can be used for the popular Go Bang (Gomoku) variant, where the objective is to create an unbroken line of five stones of your color.
