Light Against Shadow

In this intense asymmetrical confrontation, one player guides the Fellowship of the Ring on their perilous journey, while the other commands Sauron's dark forces and his loyal servants. Both sides control nine iconic characters, each armed with unique abilities and distinct paths across the board. At the start of the game, players secretly deploy their units across the regions of Middle-earth—making hidden information, misdirection, and psychological warfare the core pillars of victory.

Relentless and Dynamic Combat

Whenever opposing characters cross paths in the same region, a battle is instantly triggered. Combat seamlessly blends the characters' inherent strength, their special abilities, and a simultaneous secret choice of a combat card from your hand. This mechanism creates a highly tense, swift, yet deeply tactical clash where a single card can alter the entire course of the war. With varied starting setups and hand management, no two games will ever play the same.

The Fate of Middle-earth

The Fellowship’s ultimate objective is to sneak Frodo all the way into Mordor so he can cast the One Ring back into the fires of Mount Doom. Meanwhile, Sauron’s forces hunt relentlessly to destroy the Ring-bearer or infiltrate the Shire with their armies. Having completely different victory conditions forces both players into a tight, gripping cat-and-mouse game where perfect timing and reading your opponent is everything.
