A legendary battle of wits and bluffing in the Scottish Highlands.

A warm spring breeze flows through the valley as the snow slowly melts away. Your precious village is uncovered, and the stone lines that define your property become visible. The earth is soft, and the stones could easily roll just a bit into your neighbor’s farm, granting your clan extra room. No one will notice, right? Suddenly, an arrow whizzes past your ear! It seems your neighbor had the same idea.

Gameplay Overview:

In this refreshed version of the classic game by Reiner Knizia, you must use your cards to create the best battle formations and defend your village. Claim enough stones to win the game! You’ll need skill, cunning, and a bit of luck to defeat your opponent.

How to Play:

• Players take turns playing one card to one of the 9 boundary stones.

• Each side of a stone can hold a maximum of 3 cards.

• Formations are compared based on their strength (similar to poker):

  1. Color Run (Straight Flush)

  2. Three of a Kind

  3. Color (Flush)

  4. Run (Straight)

  5. Sum (High Card)

• The "Proof" Mechanic: If you can mathematically prove that your opponent cannot beat your formation at a specific stone, you can claim that stone immediately!

Victory Conditions:

To win, you must be the first to control:

• 3 adjacent stones (a breakthrough in the line), OR

• 5 stones in total across the entire board.
