The Japanese term "koi" refers to the brightly colored carp also known as "floating flowers." In Japanese culture, they are considered living jewels, symbols of perseverance and virtue, and bringers of luck and success. In this elegant tactical game, you take on the role of koi breeders competing to build the most beautiful and harmonious pond environment for your fish.

Players take turns drafting cards from a central pool and placing tiles onto their personal pond boards. Your main goal is to optimize the living space for your koi. A carp completely surrounded by water or water lilies thrives much better, rewarding you with a higher number of victory points. Additionally, you will compete with rival gardeners to complete public objectives and claim bonuses—where speed is key, as the fastest player claims the best rewards.
