Hellas & Elysium, the first map expansion for Terraforming Mars, offers a double-sided game board featuring two entirely new regions of the red planet, each with its own unique layout, challenges, milestones, and awards.

• Elysium takes players to the opposite side of Mars’ equator, with expansive lowlands in the north for ocean placement and a mineral-rich highland in the south. Place a tile on Olympus Mons—the tallest mountain in the solar system—to gain three free cards!

• Hellas, the southern wilds, features Mars’ south pole and the massive seven-hex Hellas crater, perfect for becoming a huge lake. Building near the pole brings new placement bonuses in the form of heat—and possibly even water.

Each map introduces new milestones and awards tied to its geography. Become a Polar Explorer by placing three tiles near the pole or compete for the most estates adjacent to water in Elysium!
