    Product detailed description

    Honshu blends trick-taking with tile-laying in a beautifully compact package. Players are nobles and noblewomen of powerful clans, seeking new lands and opportunities for glory. Each of the 12 rounds is divided into two phases: first, a trick is played to determine turn order; then, the winner of the trick leads the map-building phase, placing cards to expand their personal province. Score points for lakes, forests, cities, and production buildings — but only if you plan your layout carefully.
