Red Death is the final expansion for the legendary story-driven game Tainted Grail, offering an expert-level campaign designed for seasoned players. It is meant for characters who have completed one of the three core campaigns (Fall of Avalon, Last Knight, Age of Legends), or for a newly created high-level party. Expect 15–30 hours of gameplay spread across 8 chapters, with branching paths and multiple endings.

In Camlann, nothing works the same:

• Miasma – a new corruption mechanic that aids survival but blocks the best endings.

• No Menhirs or Wyrdness – locations appear only through story events.

• Advanced Abilities & Ancient Items – fresh progression options and unique relics.

• Ruins and Sewers – special locations with their own rules.

• Mini Encounters and new enemy traits – from Bloodlust to Multi-Attack, reshaping combat.

• Permadeath – fallen characters are gone for good.

• Coffin Dance mode – an extreme challenge reserved for veterans only.

Throughout the campaign you will explore the city, face deranged survivors and monstrous foes, and make choices with dire consequences. Diplomacy is harsher, combat deadlier, and every step can bring irreversible loss. Survival is only part of the goal – uncovering the truth will shed new light on the events of all three main campaigns.
