Plakks Hockey - flicking game

Product detailed description

Plakks Hockey is a wooden folding flicking game that lets you play table hockey anywhere. Two teams of wooden players in red and blue face off on a pitch split into two halves, with goalkeepers holding their own sticks guarding each goal.

How to play: The puck is dropped from above into the middle of the rink – each player holds a stick in their own half, waiting for the puck to stop on their side. If the puck is in your half, you can try to score by striking it hard with your stick. Wherever the puck comes to rest, the other player shoots from there. Every time you concede a goal, you must strategically remove one of your own players from the rink. The winner is whoever removes all of the opponent's players – but the final goal must come off a rebound from the boards. If the puck goes out of bounds, the opponent gets two consecutive shots from one of the two circles in their half; if the puck stops on the goal line, the attacking player gets two consecutive shots from there.

The game builds fine motor skills, quick reactions and strategic thinking, and is fun for kids and adults alike – a single match takes just 5–10 minutes. It's made from FSC-certified wood and recyclable materials, and thanks to its folding design the rink packs away easily and travels anywhere.
