In Kitsu, a clever trick-taking game, you become a mystical Kitsune (Japanese fox) seeking to reach the peak of wisdom. Play solo or in teams and cleverly use cards from both clans – Zenko (blue) and Yako (orange). Each player is assigned a clan, but to win, you must also strategically use your opponent’s cards.

Each round consists of multiple tricks. At the end of each trick, compare the total values of Zenko and Yako cards. The stronger clan moves its Kitsune marker forward on the wisdom track by the point difference. If the gap is 4 or more, the losing team gains a power token. Rounds continue until one clan reaches the final space. The game ends when one clan wins 2 rounds.

To win, you’ll need smart timing, clever use of special cards, and good management of power tokens.

For 2, 4, or 6 players, ages 10+, playtime around 15 minutes.
Game components are language-independent. The rulebook and player aids are in Czech.
