The Athena expansion for Akropolis introduces fresh strategic depth to your city-building. New construction cards challenge you to complete specific layouts in your city, rewarding you with parts of the Athena statue and mini-tiles to further enhance your city.

Across the ancient Mediterranean, architects compete for prestige, wealth, and honor. Now, they also seek the favor of Athena, goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts, who may grant glory and rewards to those most worthy.

Players complete construction cards by arranging their cities to match the requirements, gaining valuable bonuses and advantages. Each card can only be completed once, so resource management and careful planning are key. Completing the statue of Athena grants extra points for leftover stones at the end of the game, adding an additional layer of strategy.

This expansion enriches the gameplay and opens up new possibilities, while adding only a small set of additional rules.
