Once upon a time, three big cats got tired of fighting over who's the top cat, so they settled it with a hot spice eating contest instead – and naturally, everyone started cheating. That's how this clever bluffing card game was born. The deck consists of spice cards in three colors – chilli, pepper and wasabi – numbered 1 to 10, plus a handful of wild cards. Players take turns getting rid of cards from their hand: each card is played face down while announcing its color and number out loud, and every following card must match the color and beat the previous number (after 10, the count can start over from 1). You're free to lie about what you announce.

After any card is played, an opponent can challenge the claim – either the color or the number. The card is revealed, and whoever was right wins the confrontation and takes the whole discard pile as points, while the loser draws two extra cards. The first player to empty their hand and survive a challenge earns one of three trophies. The game ends the moment someone claims a second trophy, all three trophies are gone, or the end-of-world card turns up from the bottom of the deck – the player with the most points wins.
