Product detailed description
Ubongo gets a quick card-game spin-off here. Instead of the usual puzzle pieces and boards, each player gets nine cards showing six Ubongo pieces apiece. Once play starts, everyone races at the same time to fit the pieces on their cards together, domino-style - the goal is to be the first to connect seven of your nine cards.
Whoever manages it first shouts "Ubongo" and scores 10 points, though the other players still pick up points for however many cards they managed to connect. Tension builds round after round, and whoever has the most points at the end wins.
It's compact and quick to explain, which makes it a good warm-up before a longer game or a solid pick for travel.
- Players: 2–4
- Playing time: about 20 minutes
- Age: 8+
The game is in German, but it relies mainly on images and piece-matching, so you don't actually need to read German to play.
