Beneath the polished masks of the grand New Orleans celebration, elite society hides more than just faces—it conceals secrets, plotting, and intense temptation. Karneval hříchů pulls you into a high-society masquerade where ordinary morality steps aside to make room for ruthless strategy. In this playground of temptation, the winners are those who can control their desires, outguess their rivals, and turn a mix of luck and deception to their ultimate advantage.

Seven Nights, Seven Dice, Seven Deadly Sins

The entire sinful masquerade lasts exactly 7 rounds. At the beginning of each round, the player holding the Devil card rolls a set of 7 unique dice—six black dice (ranging from d4 up to d20) and one white die. Every player holds an identical hand of 7 sin cards. Your task is to examine the rolled values, secretly select one sin card from your hand, and place it face-down on the table.

Temptation Around the Table

When the masks finally drop, the sins are revealed. Each card triggers a specific, often highly disruptive effect used to draft dice from the center or actively sabotage your opponents:

• Greed: Claims a pair of dice with matching values from the table.

• Gluttony: Shamelessly snatches the single highest-value die available.

• Lust: Steals one odd and one even die—even directly from another player's pool.

• Envy: Boldly copies the score gained by the player currently holding the Devil card.

• Wrath: Allows you to reroll a die, with the physical throw potentially disrupting and changing the values of other dice on the table.

• Sloth: Effortlessly takes the die that happens to lie physically closest to you.

• Pride: Resolves at the very end of the round, sweeping up any remaining dice and securing you the Devil card for the upcoming round.

The Crown Awaits the Winner

The dice you collect are locked onto your cards, and their face values make up your score. To keep things balanced, the game lends a helping hand to those abandoned by luck—the player with the lowest score in a round receives a bonus equal to the value of the white die. At the end of the 7th round, tally up all your sins, and the most successful mastermind will be crowned the rightful King or Queen of the Karneval hříchů!
