The Podhoubí: Severní Amerika expansion introduces 35 mushroom species endemic to North America and expands gameplay for up to 5 players. It adds deeper strategic layers inspired by the real-world symbiotic relationships between trees and fungi.

How to play?

The expansion introduces young saplings and ancient trees to the ecosystem. As part of the Sporing action, players can place a spore on a sapling to claim a symbiosis bonus. Once three spores are placed on a sapling, players can perform the new Aging action to transform it into an ancient tree. Ancient trees are worth 5 victory points and can be tactically used to relocate spores into new areas.
