In 12th and 13th-century Bologna, the City of Towers, two powerful factions—the Guelphs and the Ghibellines—clash for control over the city and the favor of the Podestà. In this strategic, zero-luck game for two players, you take command of rival noble families vying for dominance. Fill district boards with buildings, enclose courtyards for immediate influence points, and raise towering family structures to secure victory.

Gameplay Overview: On your turn, you place one building of your color into a district as a house, a house with a study, or a tower. Houses help control space and complete closed courtyards, while towers determine dominance over district landmarks. Every placement directly impacts current board state and future options with full control over the game's flow. Win immediately by reaching the required influence threshold, or prevail during final scoring through courtyard control and tower dominance.
