An epic 2-player historical strategy game from the creators of Twilight Struggle
Starting in 1697, Souboj impérií (Imperial Struggle) immerses two players in the nearly century-long Second Hundred Years' War between France and Great Britain for global supremacy. Players shape world history across global theaters—from India and Canada to the Caribbean—navigating trade, diplomacy, and military conflicts up until the French Revolution in 1789.
How to play?
The game alternates between peaceful eras and major military conflicts. During peace turns, players invest in economic growth, forge European alliances, and leverage historical event cards and ministers. During war turns, forces clash across four major global conflicts, where victory depends not only on military strength but also on savvy diplomacy at the treaty table.
