Vyprávěj (CZ) - desková hra

Product detailed description

Vyprávěj brings the atmosphere of the iconic Czech Television series to your table and invites you on a journey through recent history – from the golden sixties, through the grey years of normalization and the euphoria of the nineties, to the dawn of the new millennium.

How to play: The board is made up of six spaces arranged around a central starting space – five represent the individual decades (the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s), and the sixth is dedicated to the Vyprávěj TV series itself. Players move their pawns between the spaces and draw a card with two questions at once from the matching decade's deck. A player can either pick which question to answer themselves, or let the other players choose for them – the series-themed cards additionally offer multiple-choice answers. Special character cards from the show (such as Karel Dvořák) grant unique in-game perks, like letting you pick from both questions on a card yourself. Correct answers earn points.

Spanning from the sixties to the new millennium, the game brings different generations together at the same table – some players will remember the era firsthand, while others will know it only from stories told by parents or grandparents. Both Czech and Slovak language versions of the questions are included, so Slovak players can join in too.

Contents: game board, 240 question cards, 6 pawns, rulebook.
