In Terraforming Mars, it is the mid-25th century and humanity is embarking on an ambitious project — the terraforming of Mars. Players take charge of powerful corporations realising spectacular projects: raising the temperature, enriching the atmosphere with oxygen, and flooding the dry plains with oceans.
During the game, players purchase and play project cards — over 200 of them, each offering different advantages, conditions, and strategic options. Build infrastructure, increase production, and earn victory points from your terraforming contributions. The corporation that contributes the most to making Mars habitable wins.
