Torres Family is a family-friendly strategy game about building castles and towers, where players try to impress the king either by the height of their buildings or by clever placement. The game features two different ways to play, each offering a unique goal and style of play.

The first scenario is based on the original TORRES, the Spiel des Jahres 2000 winner, but comes with simplified rules, making it more accessible for families and younger players.

Scenario 1: “Who will be the new King?”

Players try to impress the king and become his successor. Only those who build the tallest towers and are represented in as many castles as possible will have a good chance to ascend the throne.

This scenario closely follows the original TORRES, but in a more family-friendly version.

Scenario 2: “Impress the King’s Envoys!”

In this version, players seek to get close to the King’s Envoys in order to present their buildings to them. If you build next to an envoy, you earn double points.

However, this is not easy. When building, you must pay attention to the colour of the spaces, as not every tower may be built on every field. And the competition never sleeps!
