Product detailed description
Memoir '44 Battles of Khalkhin-Gol is an expansion focused on the series of battles fought along the Khalkhin-Gol river on the Soviet-Japanese border, which took place even before the official outbreak of World War II in Europe. It includes a campaign of six standard scenarios that link together into one storyline, two Breakthrough scenarios, and two large-scale Overlord scenarios.
One of the Overlord scenarios, Encirclement at Khalkhin-Gol, is part of the campaign, while the other, Cape Torokina Landings, depicts a later battle between U.S. Marines and Japanese forces and is not included in the campaign.
The expansion adds 6 Soviet BA-10 armored cars and 6 Japanese Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes. Playing the scenarios requires the Memoir '44 base game (two copies for the Overlord scenarios), plus the Terrain Pack, Eastern Front and Pacific Theater expansions; the Equipment Pack and Winter Wars expansions are also recommended.
The game is in English.
Box contents: double-sided large-format scenario map, 6 Soviet BA-10 armored cars, 6 Japanese Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes, unit and medal stickers, scenario booklet.
